Cottage Creperie

Our Story

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved cooking and baking. It’s been my way of bringing joy to others-creating something with my own hands that makes people smile. Over the years, that passion grew through my experience working in the food industry as well as having the opportunity to work closely with our local farms which deepened my appreciation for fresh, quality ingredients.

All of those moments came together in the most natural way. Combined with my love for crêpes (first discovered over 30 years ago) it felt like the perfect marriage of passion and purpose. Cottage Creperie was born from that journey, offering something truly special to the community and sharing my love through every dish we serve.

About us

Welcome to Cottage Creperie! Nestled in beautiful historic downtown Gettysburg on Steinwehr Avenue, we opened our doors on May 2022 with a simple goal: to create a warm, welcoming place where people can slow down and enjoy fresh, delicious food. At Cottage Creperie, everything begins with our handmade crêpes. We serve a variety of breakfast, sweet, and savory crêpes prepared fresh for our guests, along with homemade soups during the winter months. In addition to our delicious crepes, we feature a fun and refreshing selection of specialty beverages, including dirty sodas and our homemade signature iced tea. Our café also offers a wonderful selection of coffee options including hot drip coffee, French press, iced coffee, and cold brew.

Our café is small, quaint, and intimate. Because of this, we do not take reservations. We are open Wednesday through Sunday for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

We are proud to partner with local farms and butchers, allowing us to bring our guests a true taste of Gettysburg’s rich agricultural community and support the hardworking people who help make our region so special.

Located in the heart of downtown Gettysburg, there is plenty of street parking nearby as well as a parking lot behind Mr. G’s Ice Cream accessible from Baltimore Street.

Cottage Creperie is also BYOB. Our neighbors just around the corner at Reid’s Winery & Cider House offer a lovely selection of wines and ciders if you’d like to bring something along to enjoy with your meal.

During the spring and summer months, we offer ADA-compliant outdoor seating so guests can enjoy the charm of downtown Gettysburg while dining.

One of the things we love most about being here is the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Whether you’re a local stopping in for your favorite crêpe or a visitor experiencing Gettysburg for the first time, we are honored to be part of your day.
